PDF Blueprints for building your own microtonal fretboard.
NOTE: This PDF requires you have print software that allows you to tile across multiple sheets. (Such as the paid version of Adobe Acrobat) Otherwise you will have to print via a large scale printer.
Angine de Poitrine use a 24 Tet system on their guitars, essentially a quarter-tone equal temperament.
So instead of:
12 frets per octave → standard guitar
They effectively have:
24 frets per octave → every semitone split in half
What this fretboard layout is doing:
Standard 12-TET = 100 cents per step
24-TET = 50 cents per step
Octave = 1200 cents total
So you now have 24 frets per octave instead of 12
Every familiar note still exists
But there’s a new fret exactly between every pair
